General Conditions for car rentals

Reservations:

Should be confirmed for specific car category and NOT for a specific type of car.

Minimum rental period:

One day (24 hours).

Minimum age:

18 years for categories A0 to C
23 years for categories D to H.

Required Documents:

Renter or driver(s) named in the contract must be in possession of :

a valid driving licence for at least one year
valid passport(s) or ID card(s)
classic type of credit card with 400 Euro deposit

Rates INCLUDE:

20% VAT
Unlimited mileage
Third party insurance
Collision damage waiver (CDW) in case of damages to, or loss of the rented car or parts of it. Also in case of fire, breakage of glass or theft, the renter's liability will be reduced to:
250 EUR for categories A0, A, B, C
400 EUR for categories D, F, J
500 EUR for categories G, H
500 EUR for all category if driver is under 21
Theft protection (TP reduction as collision damage reduction) Airport service
Third party insurance
Oil and maintenance
Delivery and pick up of the vehicle in Budapest from 8:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m
Delivery and pick up of the vehicle at the airport from 8:00 a.m.to 6:00 p.m.
Additional driver
Border crossing policy
24 hours road assistance

Rates EXCLUDE:

Non-waivable excess
Refuelling charges (all cars are delivered and returned with FULL tank).
Other extra accessories & services (snow chain, etc.), detailed below.
Damages of tyres
Damages due to negligence or inproper use by renter(s)

Extra services:

All extra services will also be charged using your credit card.
Child seat, roof racks, snow chain available on request for 12 EUR per rental per item.
Chauffeur service is available upon request for 6 EUR/hour, minimum 4 hours.
Delivery and/or pickup of the vehicle within the city limits of Budapest (including Budapest Ferihegy Airport) is free of charge between 8 AM and 6 PM. Between 6 PM and 8 PM it costs 10 EUR, after 8 PM and before 8 AM it costs 25 EUR per event.
Delivery and/or pickup of the vehicle outside of Budapest costs 0.40 EUR/km from the city limit of Budapest, minimum 10 EUR.
Delivery and/or pickup of the vehicle outside of Hungary costs 0.50 EUR/km from the city limit of Budapest.

Border crossing policy:

Driving outside Hungary is subject to special conditions and restrictions. Please notify us of your intended cross-border travel when booking.
